Eco Infrastructure
Beyax is being developed along ecological guidelines. These regulations help support the diverse jungle environment, retaining its unspoiled nature and animal diversity.  The guidelines apply to electricity, water supply and sewage, land clearing, building materials.

Electricity- Solar, hydro and wind energy systems are the permitted forms of generating electricity.   Each parcel is responsible for developing their own electrical system.  Neighbors may join together and share if they wish to negotiate.

Water supply and sewage-  Each home will have to separate and process their black and gray water in individual treatment tanks.  We offer consultation on the construction of  treatment tanks.

Land clearing-   You
may build on  10% of the property.  The smallest lots are 3 hectares ( 30,000 sq. meters).  The total combined square footage of homes needs to be  3,000 sq. meters.  This applies only to the first floors, you may build a total of three floors ( 2nd and 3rd floors do not count toward the total square footage, because they do not  require jungle clearing).    The density permits a maximum of 1.5 houses per hectare ( 1.5 includes one house and one guesthouse).    the remaining 27,000 square meters are destined for green areas, permaculture projects, animal  reproduction or sustainable agriculture.   No invasive or non endemic plant species are allowed.  Dynamite is not permitted in the building / clearing process.

Building materials - Only natural materials will be allowed in the exteriors of the houses i.e. stone, wood  palapa.
Building codes are generally  more flexible in Mexico.  You may choose to build a simple palapa or an elaborate sculptural natural home.   Please see  Architecture
